Overview
In Royal Flush: Poker Dice a player rolls the dice to form poker hands. After each roll the player may re-roll some or all of the dice. After 3 rolls the player chooses a poker hand and scores. Scoring
Each poker hand will vary in value between 0 and 300 points depending on what dice are visible. A player may only score 1, 2 or 3 times for each type of poker hand (i.e High Card, Pair ... Straight Flush) with the exception of Royal Flushes. Multiple Royal Flushes may be scored in the Royal Flush category. After scoring the maximum number of times in each category the game is over and high score is recorded.
Poker Hands
In poker 5 cards are used to make a hand. The possible hands are High Card, Pair, Two Pairs, Three of a Kind, Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, and Straight Flush. The best possible Straight Flush is a Royal Flush and is scored seperately.
Better Poker Hands either have a pattern of the same rank, the same suit or a sequence of cards. A Rank refers to the number or letter on a card. Suit refers to the symbol on a card. There are 4 suits in total: diamonds, hearts, spades, and clubs. A sequence of cards refers to cards with adjacent ranks. A Jack (J) is consider one greater than a 10; A Queen (Q) is considered one greater than a Jack (J); A King is consider one greater than a Queen (Q); and an Ace is consider one greater than a King (K). In summary: 10 < Jack < Queen < King < Ace.
Straight Flush
A Straight Flush is the best possible hand. It consist of 5 cards that are in a sequence and of the same suit. The highest Straight Flush is a Royal Flush and consist of a 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace of the same suit. A Straight Flush scores 250 points. A Royal Flush scores 300 points.

Four of a Kind
A Four of a Kind consist of 4 cards of the same rank. A Four of a Kind scores 24 time the rank of the card.

Full House
A Full House consist of 3 cards of one rank and 2 cards of another rank. As an example you could have 3 Jacks and 2 Fives. This Full House would be called Jacks-full-of-Fives. A Full House scores 18 times the rank that has three cards.

Flush
A Flush consist of 5 cards that are of the same suit. A Flush scores at 3 times the sum of the ranks.

Straight
A Straight consist of 5 cards that are in a sequence. A Straight scores at 2 times the sum of the ranks.

Three of a Kind
Three of a Kind consist of 3 cards of the same rank. A Three of a Kind scores 6 times the rank of the card that has Three of a Kind.

Two Pairs
Two Pairs consist of 2 cards of the same rank and a second set of 2 cards of another rank. Two Pairs scores at the sum of the ranks of the 4 cards that make up the Two Pairs.

Pair
A Pair has two cards of the same rank. A Pair scores at the sum of the ranks of the 2 cards that make up the Pair.
Pair Example (scores 20)
High Card
A High Card is typially a hand that does not consist of any of the above. In this game it is useful to score any junk hand as a high card hand. It scores the rank of the highest card in the hand.

Dice
Each die is unique. The ranks range between 4 and Ace. Each suit is represented once for each rank. The 4's are a special two-suited die and can be used as either a heart or diamond when heart and diamond are showing or as a spade or club when the spade and club is showing. The dice have been optimized to allow for the best poker hands, so keep your best dice. The Royal Flush is possible in every suit.
